Interior Heart and Surgical Centre (IHSC) Project
The IHSC Project will include a new, four-storey, 12,970 square-metre (139,590 square foot) Interior Heart and Surgical Centre, which will house the permanent cardiac program, and where the full suite of operating and inpatient support units will be located.

Project Details
Project Description: The Interior Heart and Surgical Centre (IHSC) building will be a 14,162 m2, three-storey building that will house a Cardiac and Inpatient Surgical Suite, Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Pre- and Post-Operative Care Unit and a new Medical Device Reprocessing department. Located on the Kelowna General Hospital campus, the building will be designed to allow for a future additional fourth floor and to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold certification.
