Port Mann/Highway 1 Project (PMH1)

PROJECT DETAILS:

Project Description:

The project includes widening of Highway 1, building a new bridge at the Port Mann crossing, upgrading interchanges and improving access and safety on Highway 1 from the McGill Street interchange in Vancouver to 216th Street in Langley, a distance of approximately 37 kilometres.

The PMH1 project will reduce congestion and travel time; improve safety and accessibility; facilitate reliable transit service; expand networks for HOV, cyclists and pedestrians; and accommodate potential future rapid transit.
